Our performing arts representatives were treated to an amazing evening in Brisbane with
Jason Hunt MP
. To begin, the students enjoyed a guided tour of Parliament House. This was incredibly informative and many interesting historical facts were shared.
The groups’s favourite room was the Members Reading Room. Here, the original bookshelves house leather-bound Hansard volumes and Queensland Parliamentary Papers. Following this, a fantastic three
course meal and insightful discussion was shared.
Our students were gracious guests and lived true to the college vision and values.
This was a fantastic celebration of the performing arts and an unforgettable experience for our fortunate students - thank you to Mr Jason Hunt MP for inspiring our students to be learning today, leading tomorrow.
